Computing Community Consortium Blog

The goal of the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is to catalyze the computing research community to debate longer range, more audacious research challenges; to build consensus around research visions; to evolve the most promising visions toward clearly defined initiatives; and to work with the funding organizations to move challenges and visions toward funding initiatives. The purpose of this blog is to provide a more immediate, online mechanism for dissemination of visioning concepts and community discussion/debate about them.

NIH 2 New BRAIN Requests for Applications

The National Institute of Health (NIH) just announced 2 new BRAIN Initiative Requests for Applications (RFAs). The applications are not just limited to neuroscientists, they are open to anyone addressing the goals of President Obama’s BRAIN Initiative. Check them out and consider applying! RFA-MH-17-250 (F32): a funding opportunity for individual postdoctoral fellows early in their postdoctoral training. We are encouraging applications from individuals who are just now wrapping up their PhD training.  Program point of contact – Nancy Desmond.
