Computing Community Consortium Blog

The goal of the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is to catalyze the computing research community to debate longer range, more audacious research challenges; to build consensus around research visions; to evolve the most promising visions toward clearly defined initiatives; and to work with the funding organizations to move challenges and visions toward funding initiatives. The purpose of this blog is to provide a more immediate, online mechanism for dissemination of visioning concepts and community discussion/debate about them.


Request for Information (RFI)-National Privacy Research Strategy

NITRD agencies seek papers on Moving Target research [image courtesy NITRD].Agencies of the Federal Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD) Program are planning to develop a joint National Privacy Research Strategy. On behalf of the agencies, the Cyber Security and Information Assurance Research and Development Senior Steering Group seeks public input on the vital privacy objectives that should be considered for the goals of the strategy. The National Privacy Research Strategy will be used to guide federally-funded privacy research and provide a framework for coordinating research and development in privacy-enhancing technologies.

Responders are asked to answer one or more questions in the following areas:

  1. Privacy objectives
  2. Assessment capabilities
  3. Multi-disciplinary approach
  4. Privacy architectures

All submissions must be 20 pages or less. Comments can be submitted by any of the following methods:
